Finnish handset maker Nokia has announced its decision to swap its current distributors, viz. Data Select and 20:20 Mobile, with a trio of new distribution partners.
The renowned handset firm has picked Micro-P as its distributor within the consumer and business telecom dealer channel, while Ingram Micro (UK) will deal with the company’s business IT reseller channel.
Ingram Micro will focus on driving growth for the company’s smartphone solutions with mobility enablement of cloud as well as enterprise solutions.
The third distributor is Kondor, which will become the Finnish company’s first franchise accessories distributor in Europe.
Announcing new distribution partners, Nokia UK’s chief of retail & distribution James Kitto said, “We are delighted to be bringing on-board new partners with the capabilities and approach that align with our vision and strategic growth plans.”
In addition, the UK Partner Network has been launched to provide product training, sales support and care to dealers, IT resellers as well as independent retail store customers.
The distribution network has been restructured as the launch of Nokia’s Windows Phone devices is drawing closer.
