Red wine is thought to be a remedy for each and every medical problem, but a novel study has proved that this beautiful colored wine might be effective in treating hosts of problem but not those which are related to heart.
In fact Victoria Heart Foundation CEO Kathy Bell was of the view that alcohol of any type is not good for heart and with this statement he has broken all myths that were related with red wine as a cure for cardiovascular problem.
Heart Foundation was of the view that leaves aside benefits more than two drinks a day could create problems for you. Alcohol is responsible for causing high blood pressure, sugar, liver failure, cancer and different types of cardiovascular diseases. In extreme cases, even heart attack is possible. The Foundation said that alcoholics majorly die due to contraction of heart diseases and liver issues.
Situation in Australia is grim as 4% of deaths occurring in the nation are due to alcohol and in 2004, about 545, 000 people lost their life due to drinking habit.
