On-demand cloud gaming service OnLive has announced that new members can get hold of their first game for just £1 at onlive. co. uk is a special launch promotion.
OnLive launched its on-demand cloud video game service on Wednesday at the 2011 Eurogamer Expo that took place in London. UK gamers can sign up to the service for free to enjoy new gameplay experiences.
Signing up to the service provides gamers with a rare opportunity to play around 150 top-tier games via their broadband connections on HD TVs, PCs or Mac.
Speaking on the topic, the company stated, "OnLive is available through onlive. co. uk on virtually every PC and Mac through a simple browser download, on HDTVs via the OnLive Game System."
The service will also be available on Apple's iPad and Android tablets in the near future.
Gamers can also buy new releases individually at very attractive prices starting at £1.99. They can also sign up to PlayPack Bundle, which provides access to 100+ games for £6.99 per month.
The PlayPack bundle includes popular games like Batman: Arkham Asylum, Fear 3, Homefront, Saints Row 2, and Borderlands.
Broadband provider BT has announced its exclusive partnership with OnLive. BT broadband customers can enjoy free membership to the OnLive 100+ Game PlayPack offer for three months.
