Chinese handset maker Huawei, well-known for making Android-based budget smartphones, has unveiled a new a smartphone called the Huawei Honor, which offers a battery life of up to 3 days on a single charge.
The Android 2.3.5-based Huawei Honor comes equipped with a 1,900 mAh battery, which, as per the manufacturer, offers the longest battery life among smartphones in the 4-inch screen range.
The new smartphone also features a 4-inch touchscreen, a 1.4 GHz processor, a micro USB port, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of integrated storage which can be extended to up to 32GB with the help of a memory card.
The Honor has two cameras: an 8-megapixel camera at the rear plus a 2-megapixel camera at its front. In addition, the smartphone comes with Huawei user interface plus a gyroscope to ensure a better gaming experience.
It is easy to handle and carry as it weighs just 140 grams and measures 10.9 millimeters at its thinnest point.
The Huawei Honor will be released in China, Russia, Middle East and Asia-Pacific markets sometime in the final quarter of this year. Pricing details will be announced before its release.
