In a recent incident of fraud in medical treatments, a doctor and an evangelist is convicted for giving out fake treatments to people for the cure of various serious ailments such as Alzheimer's and cancer.

This is an incident from San Fernando Valley. She has been criminally charged for using fake treatment methods and giving people false hopes for the treatment of their diseases, while extracting a lot of money from them under the pretext.

Many people had to lose their lives due to the woman's fake treatment and relatives of the deceased as well as surviving victims testified against her. The name of the doctor is Christine Daniel and she is 57.

She has a number of other criminal charges on her as well like tampering with witness, and income tax-related filing. She is going to face a sentence of at least 150 years according to the federal prison and shall have to pay a fine of sum $5.5 million.

"These are some of the most vulnerable victims in society. Most of these victims were dying; most of them were terminal cancer patients. Most of them only had been given a few months to live. Some had small children", revealed assistant U. S. Atty. Mr. Joseph Johns.
