It has been reported that dengue fever has been taking its toll in Pakistan. It seems like Pakistan is going through a nightmare as previously it was hit by flood, earthquake and now, it's time for dengue fever. The devastating outbreak has taken life of as many as 126 people in just one year.
It has been informed that each year, about 50 and 100 million of people living in the tropics and subtropics areas are affected by dengue fever. The symptoms of dengue fever include body ache and mild to high fever. However, in critical cases a patient might experience internal bleeding and low blood pressure.
Dengue fever is usually spread by Aedes aegypti mosquito. The only way of fighting dengue is avoiding coming in contact with mosquito responsible for spread of it. The residents of Pakistan has accused that frequent power cuts and government's incapability of limiting the spread of dengue mosquito has led to the outbreak
It has been reported that dengue spreading mosquitoes has affected as many as 12,000 people. A number of campaigns have been organized in various states with the hope of providing treatment to a dengue victim. But unfortunately, as no treatment is available for dengue, the medical team is only providing Paracetamol to the patients.
