Dieting Can Restrict Young Girls from Becoming Mothers

Dieting Can Restrict Young Girls from Becoming MothersA gynecologist has notified that women in New Zealand are so obsessed with dieting that the practice might restrict them from having babies due to the adverse effects.

Fertility Specialist Dr. Stella Milsom stated that the young women should not adopt the dietary patterns and should eat moderately with regular exercising patterns to ensure their safety and to have healthy babies in future.

Dr. Stella Milsom stated that it is quite depressing for her when the celebrities proclaim about their diet benefits even though they visit her clinic for the treatment. She said that many a times, patients suffer from hormonal deficiency syndrome hypothalamic amenorrhoea which is found in the body of women with less body weight due to low fat levels. This condition results in irregular periods or they stop which indicates obstruction in pregnancy.

This disorder may be a part of carrier oriented women who are affected by the high levels of stress due to work environment and lose weight.

However, majorly the syndrome becomes a part of those girls who prefer restricted diets and eat less for losing weight.

"It really frustrates me when I see my patients written up in the women's magazines when I know they've got the bones of an 80-year-old", Dr. Stella Milsom stated.

Dr. Stella added that such women should be encouraged by the families and friends to not to go on diets so that they have a secure future and are eligible to become mothers.
