The new Honda Civic, which was unveiled at the recent Frankfurt Motor Show, will go on sale in the UK in January 2012, with price tags ranging between £16,495 and £26,595.
Honda's new Civic will be available in a choice of 2.2-litre diesel engine and 1.4 or 1.8-litre petrol engines. There will be four trim levels, viz. SE, ES, EX and EX GT, to choose from.
SE model will come equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels, USB connectivity and air-conditioning; while ES model adds rear park camera, automatic headlights, automatic wipers, folding door mirrors, dual-zone air-con, cruise control with a speed limiter, and Bluetooth.
The EX and EX GT models of the new car will start at £21,745 and £24,495 respectively. The EX model will features sat-nav, a hard disc-based sat-nav, leather upholstery and heated front seats.
The EX GT will add 17-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic glass roof, keyless entry, front and rear park sensors, and bi-xenon headlights.
Honda's Collision Mitigation Braking System and Adaptive Cruise Control will be available in the Civic range for the first time, as a package in EX GT models for £1,900.
The ninth-generation Honda Civic is available to pre-order now.
