Popping a wonder pill will apparently keep the grey strands in the hair at bay --- a breakthrough research by the scientists at the laboratories of cosmetics firm L’Oreal have recently revealed!

According to the information shared by the experts at L’Oreal, they are in the process of creating a once-a-day medication – similar to a dietary supplement, and a completely natural drug – which will keep the grey at bay for those who wish to cling to the natural colour of their locks!

While the daily pill, which will not be a high-priced one, will essentially comprise fruit extract, it will be effective only if people who wish to retain the natural colour of their hair begin taking it before the onset of the ‘greying’ process. The pill will be available only by 2015.

That most people would like to give the greying of their hair a miss, if possible, is evident from the fact that the worldwide ‘hair-colouring’ market is estimated to be worth a whopping £8billion --- and, L’Oreal will seemingly cause a flutter if comes up with a lucrative anti-grey formula in the form of an easy-to-take pill.

Noting that L’Oreal will encourage people to start using the pill before their hair goes grey, since the pill will not be able to reverse the process once it has begun, Bruno Bernard – L’Oreal’s head of hair biology – said about the pill: “We have a watertight proof of concept, and we think it will have a market among men as well as women”!
