It has been informed that because of quality concerns the drugs are being delayed. The shortage of drugs is mainly impacting the cancer patients. Because of the shortage, medical staff is forced to give them substitute drugs.
Efforts are being, made towards ensuring the health of the patients. The FDA has urged the drug manufacturers to speed up the production as the shortage of drugs is posing potential risk to the critical patients.
