Taiwanese handset maker HTC’s much-awaited Windows Phone smartphones, the HTC Radar and HTC Titan, are now available for purchase in the UK.
Both smartphones run on Microsoft’s latest Windows Phone OS, called Windows Phone 7.5 (codenamed Mango), but the HTC Titan Features a larger display and a clearer camera than those of the Radar.
The 9.9mm-thick HTC Titan comes equipped with a 4.7-inch touchscreen, an 8-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, a 1.5GHz processor, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling, 16 GB of built-in storage, along with all the nitty-gritty options that are generally expected from a high-end smartphone.
HTC’s second Windows Phone smartphone, the Radar, features a 3.8-inch touchscreen, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a front-facing VGA camera, a 1GHz processor and 8GB of built-in storage.
UK retailer Phones 4U is offering the Titan and the Radar on ?30 and ?23.50 per month Orange contracts respectively.
Clove has listed the Titan and Radar with a launch date of October 7. The SIM-free Titan has been priced at ?498, while the SIM-free Radar costs ?342.
