Asian and European stores will get the much-anticipated HTC Sensation XL smartphone at the start of November, the Taiwan-based world’s fifth-largest smartphone maker announced.
The HTC Sensation XL comes packed with rap artist Dr. Dre’s Beats Audio technology, which according to the Taiwanese firm will help fix the degradation of the digital music.
The Sensation XL, which is the second HTC smartphone with Beats technology after the Sensation XE, features a 4.7-inch WVGA touchscreen that is made of Gorilla glass and offers a resolution of 480-by-800 pixels.
Its 8-megapixel camera is capable of capturing high-definition video in 720p. The camera is a wide-angle lens that is accompanied by a dual LED flash.
Other striking features of the smartphone include its 9mm profile, HTC Sense 3.5, a single-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM 8255 processor, 768MB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.
The battery of the 162.5g-smartphone, which will only be available in white with an aluminum panel on its rear, provides power for 250 to 710 minutes of talk-time on a GSM network.
Pricing details for the XL will be disclosed before its release.
