Test Run to Catch Cancer KillerAccording to latest reports, a recent research, which was carried out by researchers from Europe, has revealed that the eligibility for availing bowel cancer screening should depend on gender along with age.

On the same note, a similar study was recently conducted by Austrian researchers, wherein over 44,000 patients attended colonoscopy diagnosis for bowel cancer. It was revealed that men had nearly two times the risk of colorectal and adenoma cancer as compared to women.

Disclosing their findings, researchers revealed that an extensive increase in colorectal cancer rate was observed in women between 60 and 64 years of age. In addition, they revealed that the escalation corresponded to an identical increase in the rate of colorectal cancer among men. But, men are likely to face the same frequency of risk a decade ahead of women.

In New Zealand, bowel cancer is the second biggest assassinator out of all known forms of cancer, but a novel screening method is likely to prove revolutionary in saving hundreds of lives.

Peter Krijger, a fortunate bowel cancer survivor who recently recovered from symptoms of cancer in lower intestine, expressed his expectations that people will soon grab the opportunity of participating in the pilot screening programme organised for timely tracking the deadly bowel cancer.
