A Nokia employee has turned down rumours that the Finnish handset maker will release Symbian Belle OS on 26th of October.
Various reports claim that Belle update of the Symbian operating system will make debut during the Nokia World 2011 event, which is going to take place on 26th and 27th of this month.
But, Nokia employee named Skyee said, "Symbian Belle OS coming - but definitely not on 26th October as some blogs are claiming."
Skyee added that their total concentration, for the time being, was to get Symbian Anna reach customers in the United States, Canada and Australia.
Previously, reports were emerging that Belle OS, which could be the last upgrade to Symbian, will make debut on the Nokia's 603 smartphone during the upcoming Nokia World event.
Leaked specs of the Nokia 603 include a touch-screen with 360 x 640 pixel resolution, a 5MP full focus camera, a 1 GHz processor, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, microSIM cards and NFC technology.
The Symbian Belle OS will reportedly allow users to customize the overall feel of the software, adjust the size the home-screen widgets, scroll the main menu, and toss between live images of open apps.
