First morning of this week was not usually pleasant for the BlackBerry users around the world, as a rare technical glitch pulled the services down. The effect was being experienced by users in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, India, Brazil, Chile, and Argentina, as they failed to avail services of sending mails and instant messaging and other internet facilities.
While the irked users vent out their anger on social networking sites, like Twitter, the company put their best in place to restore the failed services.
Apparently, such problems were experienced by users of T-Mobile UK, as they claimed that such service failures are being widely combated by many mobile operators. With BlackBerry customers sharing their problems on internet, speculations started rolling about the possible causes behind the entire fiasco.
With the anger building up, the makers had no option but to come out to answer the troubled customers. To pacify the enraged users, Research in Motion (RIM) said that there was a technical glitch which affected the services across the length and breadth of world.
Giving heartiest apologies to all affected users, RIM said that the system failed to transit to a back-up switch, which scaled up huge data. The problem went to that extent that the regular services faced range of issues.
Though services were recovered on the same day, there were reports that some users remained bothered with the issues. However, the makers are continuing their efforts to get back to the regular operation as soon as possibl
