Acer's new Aspire S3 ultrabook has many striking specs that will allow it to become a strong alternative to Apple's popular MacBook Air.
The Aspire S3 features a 13.3-inch HD widescreen LED-blacklid display that promises aspect ratio of 16:9 and a resolution of 1366 by 768 pixels. It is just 0.51 inches in thickness and 2.98 pounds in weight.
It runs Windows Home 7 Premium operating system, and comes equipped with Intel Core i5 1.66GHz chip, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, SD reader.
The S3 also offers as much capacity as a large, full-screen notebook, thanks to its 4GB of RAM, 20GB solid-state drive and a 320GB hard drive.
Other striking features include Acer Instant Connect that takes merely 2.5 seconds to connect the user to the Internet. Its Green Instant allows users to resume computing session in less than 2 seconds.
Acer Hybrid Standby Technology offers a standby time of fifty days and a continuous usage of up to six hours.
