 at a glance Acer's new Aspire S3 ultrabook has many striking specs that will allow it to become a strong alternative to Apple's popular MacBook Air.

The Aspire S3 features a 13.3-inch HD widescreen LED-blacklid display that promises aspect ratio of 16:9 and a resolution of 1366 by 768 pixels. It is just 0.51 inches in thickness and 2.98 pounds in weight.

It runs Windows Home 7 Premium operating system, and comes equipped with Intel Core i5 1.66GHz chip, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, SD reader.
