Japanese gaming giant Nintendo’s blue Sonic themed Wii console will come bundled with a blue Wii Remote Plus, Nunchuk and sticker sheet.
The special console bundle, which is scheduled to tip up on November 18, will also include a copy of Sega’s new game Mario and Sonic.
Announcing the bundle, Nintendo said, “The new Wii bundle, launching across Europe on 18th of November 2011, includes a newly configured blue Wii console, blue Wii Remote Plus and Nunchuk controllers and a copy of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, as well as a sticker sheet featuring characters from the game.”
Earlier at the Olympic Games as well as at the Winter Olympic Games, Mario and Sonic allowed Nintendo to enjoy great success as the game appeals to gamers of all ages.
But, potential owners of the blue Wii will not be able to enjoy GameCube titles as it does not support GameCube controllers.
The release of the new Wii is scheduled in time for the Christmas period in the hope that more gamers will come forward to pick it up before the launch of the Wii U.
