The abundance of entertainment services which Amazon’s forthcoming Kindle Fire tablet computer will offer is likely to draw customers aplenty --- even those who have recently nabbed Hewlett Packard (HP)’s discontinued TouchPad, which happened to be the lowest-cost premium tablet to be available in the market!
The $199-priced Amazon Kindle Fire, which will hit the store shelves on November 15, boasts a number of compelling features, including a full-color 7-inch multi-touch IPS screen; a dual-core processor; 8GB built-in memory; Wi-Fi functionality, and a battery life of up to eight hours.
The Kindle Fire will come with a list of applications too, like the Amazon Appstore; Amazon Silk Browser; Amazon Instant Video; e-mail; and Amazon Cloud Drive with unlimited cloud storage for Amazon content.
In addition, each Kindle Fire tablet will bring along for the buyers one ‘free’ month of Amazon Prime membership.
With the content for the Kindle Fire to come from partners like Twentieth Century Fox Film, NBCUniversal Media, Sony, CBS, and Warner Bros. Entertainment, the Amazon Instant Video service on the tablet will facilitate instant streaming access to over 100,000 pieces of movie and TV content, with Amazon Prime members getting as many as 11,000 pieces of free movie and TV content.
And, finally, the Amazon Appstore will enable the Kindle Fire users to access a free daily app and an exhaustive list of downloadable apps, ranging from games to news to productivity.
