According to the reports, recently the Gillard government officials made a very vigilant statement when they declared that if the domestic flights' controversy does not finish, then certainly they would be intervening in the dispute.
The controversy came to limelight after the previous news reports claimed that the Qantas laid several blames on the government officials regarding its verdict made to ground five aircraft and slash up to 100 domestic flights per week.
However, the dispute became hotter when lately Martin Ferguson, the current Tourism Minister and the Former ACTU in charge made a very ironic comment about one of the Qantas union leader and called him an un-Australian.

He added, "There are options for the government to actually require the parties to resolve these issues under the umbrella of the Fair Work Australia Act".
On the other hand, commenting on the issue, Alan Joyce, the Chief Executive from Qantas, commented that the whole controversy have certainly highlighted the fact that the continuing strike action will for sure become indefensible for the airline industry's profit figures.
