FromSoftware’s most recent title Dark Souls is not only one of the hardest games available so far but it plays down the online gaming system also.

Available on Sony’s PlayStation 3 as well as Microsoft’s Xbox 360, Dark Souls doesn’t allow players to voice chat and playing with their friends. Player vs. player gameplay is a hit and miss, while co-op mode allows players to engage enemies if they meet certain conditions and if they are playing in the area which also meet complex conditions.

Other popular games, such as Call of Duty and World of Warcraft, allow players to go toe to toe with other players online.

Dark Souls is brutally difficult. There is no cent per cent safe and secure strategy to kill enemies in the game. Player have to crawl inch-by-inch as enemies erupt from anywhere.

Wicked and awful enemies pose serious threats. The player can succumb to various dreadful fates like crushing, stabbing, poisoning, or in the worst circumstances he can be eaten up.
