BP Gets Green Signal for North Sea ProjectAccording to reports, the UK Government recently declared that finally, they have showed green signal to the oil titan BP and its associates to carry on with their development project worth £4.5bn, which was related to the North Sea.

However, the new project is supposed to be one of the four most significant new oil and gas projects valued at nearly £10bn, which were designed by the oil syndicate.

Sharing his views about development plans, Chief Executive from the firm, Bob Dudley said that they have planned to organize several innovative expansion projects that would certainly take the Company’s profit and growth graph to a whole new level plus these projects would surely provide extra ordinary growth for some of their largest fields designed for 2050.

He added, "After some years of decline, we now see the potential to maintain our production from the North Sea at around 250,000 barrels of oil equivalent a day until 2030”.

On the other hand, Prime Minister David Cameron accounted that the approval decision has certainly opened several employment gates for the Aberdeen residents, and he strongly believed that after this decision, the unemployment graph will surely witness plunges.

Beside all these announcements, BP officials further asserted that the wider field has now become UK's largest hydrocarbon resource, and it is planning extension in the south west of the site.
