Siri Assistant, voice-driven personal assistant that made debut with Apple’s newly released iPhone 4S, is not only informative but entertaining also.

Just like Google’s Voice Actions, Siri Assistant lets users to control their smartphones by just speaking into the handsets. The innovative software allows users to schedule meetings, send messages and take notes, in addition to make calls and even book restaurant tables using their voice.

But, it is not just information that makes Siri Assistant special. It gives some funny answers with a robotic voice. For instance, if someone asks for drugs, Siri Assistant suggests that the questioner should visit the nearest addiction treatment center.

The users can even ask Siri to remind him to call his wife when he arrives at a particular site.

Siri can understand questions in natural language, regardless of who is asking the questions. Kids like it to ask all sorts of questions. It makes use of artificial intelligence and multiple databases, and search the Web to answer the questions.

Siri is the brainchild of research institute SRI, which sold it to the Cupertino-based Apple last year.
