The crux of the story lies in the fact that ‘women should not delay motherhood’. It has been found that increasingly women in their mid 30s get their eggs frozen, in order to ensure that they become mother even if they get separated from their partners.

‘Egg frozen’ criteria was especially adopted by those women, who were single and wanted to become mothers, but as time passed on, it was seen that now even settled women are going for freezing eggs. It has been found in a research that women who go for fertilization in late 30s or mid 30s do not have successful fertilization as quality of their eggs get depreciated by that time, therefore, it is very necessary that if a woman is not undergoing any medical complexities, then she should go for fertilization by the time she is under 20s.

Medical Director of Midland Fertility Services in Aldridge, Dr. Gillian Lockwood said that if women want to go for freezing of eggs, then they should consider the option before they reach the age of 30.

Dr. Roger Lobo, who is the President of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, said that women remain in illusion that they would be able to become mother later in age, but they are not aware of the medical complexities that arrives with the age. Therefore, it is very important for a woman to go for freezing of eggs when she is under 30s.

Lot of clinics have also got opened which claims to solve such problems, but none of the treatment would be of use if eggs quality gets depreciated.

Freezing of eggs cost in UK is £5,000 per time, but it is suggested that woman should repeat the process still she gets ensured that enough eggs have been obtained.
