A recent study conducted by Harvard University researchers made a very surprising claim and after reading the study findings certainly all the mothers would think twice before providing their young girls with the packed food stuffs.
As per reports, the researchers accounted that all the food stuff, which contained bisphenol A (BPA), certainly made the young girls behave in an aggressive manner.
The study findings also highlighted the fact that the deadly BPA chemical, known to be found in almost packaged food stuffs, became the chief reason behind the sudden elevated aggression levels in most of the young girls.
All these study findings came to limelight after the study researchers decided to compare the chemical levels among the 244 pregnant women. The researchers took the urine sample of the each woman and then they compared it to the BPA levels.
While conducting their study trials, the researchers also discovered that an extra exposure to BPA, during the pregnancy times surely made the girls as young aggressive and hyperactive.
However, the most interesting part of these findings was that the researchers particularly highlighted the belligerent behavior problems among those girls, falling in the age group of three years or less.
In the meantime, giving some more details about the dangerous chemical, the researchers asserted that generally BPA, is used to harden plastics, and it could be easily found on the tins and bottles coating.
Meanwhile, this was not the first time that the dangerous BPA effects have been highlighted by the researchers, as many previous studies also proved that the chemical was the deadly gender bending chemical, which causes several interferences with the way hormones were processed.
Commenting about the study findings, the lead author, Joe Braun, said, “These subtle shifts can actually have very dramatic implications at the population level”.
