Scientists are trying hard to find a concrete way of treating heart diseases. Earlier they came up with stem cell technology to save lives from heart diseases and now, they are claiming that the blood of Python could prove beneficial for treating heart diseases.
In a recent study, conducted by the Biofrontiers Institute, researchers have found that the fatty acids of Python blood could do wonders for a heart patient. According to the researchers, the blood circulation of hungry python is a key o health heart.
In previous studies, it was highlighted that the heart of the Python snake tends to grow within the 72 hours of having heavy meal. It has been informed by the researchers that after 24 hours of consuming a heavy meal the Python’s blood produce triglycerides in large quantity. The triglycerides are a natural fatty acid.
Because of larger production of the triglycerides, fat doesn’t accumulate on the arteries of Python’s heart. For the study, the researchers injected the triglycerides into mice and found that the fatty acid didn’t allow the fat to get accumulated on arteries.
The findings made the researchers to conclude that the blood of Python could help human in preventing contact with heart diseases. The findings of the study have been published in the journal Science.
The researchers are now working towards developing the mechanism through which the fat could be refrained from being accumulated on the arteries of heart. The researchers have recommended that a person should indulge into rigorous physical activities so that heart diseases could be prevented.
It has come to light that the patients with heart diseases have to thicken and reduce the size of heart chambers. Regular exercising could cause heart enlargement and thus can prevent a person from coming in contact with any heart diseases.
