Volkswagen’s New Hot Golf R for Customers

Volkswagen-Golf-RVolkswagen Golf variants are the two of the three finalists for the Canadian Car of the Year award presented by the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada.

The AJAC winner will be announced on Feb 11. It will be either a diesel-powered Golf wagon, a gasoline-powered two-door Golf GTI or another diesel newcomer, the BMW 335d. The Volkswagen has yet to put the price. The R32 with a 3.2-litre V6 produced significantly more power at 184kw versus the previous GTI's 147kW - but as it was heavier many people preferred the lighter, more agile GTI.

Both cars produce the same 350Nm of torque between 2500 and 5000 revs. Both are limited to a top speed of 250km/h. It delivers lower emissions and better fuel economy. Consumers recommend the TDI over the gasoline. Both of the Golf's are the winners as both are different in their features.
