According to a recent report, with growing times more and more teenage girls are becoming over-concerned for their health and body shape, and this is something that has drastically affected their diet plans and exercising schedules.
It has been noticed that not only college girls who have crossed the age of 16 years, but primary school girls also who are aged just between 10 and 11, are eager to lose weight to adapt an ideal body physique. For pursuing this, it is adaptation of drastic methods or it is tough mouth binding routines; girls are happy and comfortable enough to trouble them for achieving a perfect self-image.
This report has been established by the Schools Health Education Unit of Britain and its main emphasize is over the aspect that how teenage girls here are reacting to apprehension about their appearance during a celebrity culture according to which, good looks is the most important area to be considered.
During this survey, around 83,000 pupils were questioned and among them, around one third of girls, all aged between 14- to 15-year-olds, were habitual of skipping their breakfast. Besides, 24% of girls were such who along with breakfast also missed their lunch the day before that day.
The report also revealed that with growing age, the enthusiasm within girls to lose weight for achieving a certain look also increases. As compared to young girls of age 10 to 11 years, the proportion of girls aged 14 to 15 years was pretty high in regard of adopting a tough series of methods for pursuing certain looks.
When asked from few boys and girls of age group 10 to 11 years old , it was revealed that around 40% of them neither consumes protein "on most days" and nor they intake crisps, sweets or chocolate regularly.
