The midwives also called the women that these mothers should not have any doubt about their pregnancy stage, because at any stage the flu shots were necessary.

However, this is not the first time that the NHS officials have asked the pregnant women to get these flu shots, as continuously from past three years, the health officials have been making it sure that these expecting mothers should be protected against the deadly flu effect.

Meanwhile, many past facts have also shown that against the dangerous effects of the deadly flu, these pregnant women were the one, who had the augmented pregnancy complication risks because if they were attacked the deadly flu, then certainly both the child and the mother suffered from serious health problems .

Sharing his views about the raised issue, Head of Midwifery at Musgrove Hospital, Taunton Maxine Spencer accounted that the winter shots were the most important vaccinations for these pregnant women as the past health reports have shown that negligence in these shots, certainly resulted in some serious health issue.

She added, "It takes around two weeks for the vaccination to become effective so pregnant women should get their jab now, or as soon as they know they are pregnant".
