Climate Talks Scheduled for November 28

Climate Talks Scheduled for November 28Global warming is a big concern for authorities worldwide but some recent rifts between countries is showcasing that the common tension and the agreements signed between countries to fight same could see some trouble soon.

We all know that the countries have signed pollution limits as the only treaty to curb greenhouse gases to serve their common purpose but the treaty could soon cite an end probably at the end of next year when the time of lapse will approach.

In context to the same, rifts have also occurred between richer countries and developing ones as all have a common motive of combating global warming but with different ways.

Reports have confirmed that China, India, Brazil and their allies are in the list of countries that are supporting the view to push extension of the Kyoto Protocol by restricting industrialized nations to cut emissions through 2012. But, it seems that Japan, Canada and Russia are not in the favor of the above decision because they have refused to sign that plan and the US never have ratified it.

The industrial market basically caps carbon dioxide that burns fossil fuels, the main sources of damaging the climate. The latest collected data has confirmed the unexpected investments i. e. a jump of 32% in renewable energy with a record of $211 billion last year.

United Nations climate talks will start on Nov. 28 in Durban, South Africa, and will continue for two weeks. Negotiators from 190 countries have been welcomed at the occasion to conclude how the countries will move further regarding global warming.

"We need an international agreement to have any formal new targets, and it's equally clear that those new targets are a long way from being agreed", said Henry Derwent, the President of International Emissions Trading Association and a former U. K. climate envoy.
