Australia's largest Logistics and Transportation solution provider Toll Group has acquired three Asia-based international express businesses. The company notified in an official release that it acquired the Asian operations of Deltec in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia to compliment its existing air freight operations in Australia and New Zealand.
The Deltec business has multiple product offerings including international express, local point to point courier and mail (international and domestic).
Apart from this, the group has also acquired two additional small businesses, Kwikmail and Skynet, in Hong Kong. The three acquisitions are expected to declare postive EPS from the first year.
Earlier this month, Toll Group has signed an agreement for the purchase of 100% of the shares in Perkins Group Holdings Pty Limited, the parent of the Perkins Shipping Group.
The toll group generated revenue in excess of A$5.6 billion for the year ending June 2008 and employs 30000 people in more than 50 countries.
