The first ever specifications of Rockstar's LA Noire have managed to hit the Internet, mainly through pages of the US magazine Game Informer.
The game has been set in Los Angeles of 1947, and the players will be taking on missions as a beat cop Cole Phelps, who has set out to clean the streets of the city which are filled with crime. GI has shared that the cop has to take care of a police force that is a part of a totally corrupt system, in addition to tackling some "very bad things" that he had himself done in World War II.
During the course of the game, players, in the form of Phelps, will go through "desks" of the Los Angeles Police Department, from "traffic, to vice and ultimately homicide".
Cases will have to be solved through a combination of investigation, collecting of evidence and interrogation. Instead of using the hands much, players will just have to keep a very sharp eye and look for clues scattered all over the game.
