Recent reports have revealed that the lifestyle and the quality of diet of a person are actually responsible for putting the person to a higher risk of strokes at times. The study has been conducted by Graeme Hankey from the Royal Perth Hospital.
There is need to maintain a routine that promotes eating healthy food ant the correct timings Another fact is that overeating , which might be a reason for obesity, will put a person to a higher risk of strokes. The dietary patterns of people are actually their culprits. Eating at the right time and in the right amount is important here. The nutritional value of the food is also important, but it makes a huge difference if you tend to eat nutritious food in more than required quantities, and at the wrong timings.
One also needs to give up ill habits such as drinking and smoking, because they are silent killers, which act upon the health of people, over a prolonged period of time. It is essential that one keeps a healthy life r0outine of enough food, enough exercise and good amount of rest, to keep healthy and balanced. This will ensure a happy, healthy and disease-free life.
“The overall quality of an individual's diet (i. e. dietary pattern) and balance between energy intake and expenditure seem to be more important determinants of stroke risk than individual nutrients and foods”, revealed Mr. Hankey.
Overconsumption of sweet and salty foods is another reason for deteriorating health conditions for people. This is why it is essential that people maintain a healthy life with enough of everything, but steer clear from overeating and eating at the wrong timings.
Obesity is spreading across the world like a full-blown epidemic, and there is need for taming it with improving health habits so that the world can become a healthier happier place.
