The Australian Health officials have revealed that people, who might have got tattoos from the place, need to seek medical advice to find out whether they are at any risk of AIDS.

There is also a major possibility of one contracting a certain form of malignant melanoma cancers, when people get inked the wrong way. The reason for the number of risks involved in getting tattoos is because the procedure in invasive and includes breaking of skin to infuse color in it. It is essential that the tattoo artist is not only skilled with designs, but also has a profuse knowledge of hygiene requirements for making tattoos.

"While tattooists in Western Australian must comply with strict regulations and a code of practice, tattoo parlors overseas may not meet the same standards, "This case demonstrates the very real health risk in having this type of procedure done overseas”, revealed Paul Armstrong, from the Department of Health communicable disease control.
