Soon the ear of smoking would be put to an end as young researchers are trying hard to bring in e-cigarettes which would substitute the cigarette market. Medical experts, in previous studies have linked cigarette to heart diseases and cancer.
But if the young researchers of Oxford are able to device improved electronic cigarettes then it would prove helpful in saving millions of life. In past few years, people have been introduced with e-cigarettes which replicate smoking by heating nicotine to produce an inhaled mist.
About 10 million e-cigarettes have been sold worldwide. The aim of introducing e-cigarettes was to change the habit of people of inhaling toxics which can put life of smokers and their dear ones in trouble.
Although the e-cigarettes are in the market from past few years, they are yet to be legalized. The government has not yet raised questions over the trade of e-cigarettes as no complains have not yet been registered against it.
The Royal College of Physicians is of the opinion that the e-cigarettes should be made available all over the world. The College said, “If alternative and safe nicotine products can be developed which are attractive enough to substitute people away from traditional cigarettes, they could have the potential to save 10,000s of lives a year”.
The government of the UK is setting up the3 strategies by which e-cigarettes could be sold all over the world. The UK is the only country which is actually putting efforts in developing strategies to bring revolution in the cigarette markets.
However, a few are voicing opposition against the introduction of e-cigarettes. They are of the opinion that by the introduction of e-cigarettes, non-smokers will be made addicted to it. It could be harmful for the non-smokers, believe critics.
