Destiny plays big! No matter if others don’t believe this saying but Mrs. Lena Paahlsson would definitely agree with the major role played by destiny as after sixteen years of losing her wedding ring, she has found it again, isn’t that luck and destiny? This is definitely not at all less than any miracle for the lady.
1995 Christmas Day: Mrs. Lena from Sweden was celebrating the festival with her daughters by baking in the kitchen. She wore off her white gold plated wedding ring and put it on the kitchen counter while she was involved with her daughters.
Despite her family’s full efforts for finding the ring after the activity, even beneath the floorboard of their farm in Northern Sweden, they could not find it.
Paahlsson since the time went hopeless for never being able to wear her wedding ring again in her life. But this October proved nothing less than a miracle as the month along with giving her new carrots also gave her, her lost wedding ring that she found on one of the carrots in her garden while she was picking them up.
The family doubts that the ring could have fallen into the sink or got mixed with potato peels, which they usually compost or feed the sheep with as the family nurture the soil in the garden with composted vegetables and sheep dung for the productive growth.
Around 16 years after Mrs. Lena unexpectedly finds her wedding ring and once again she wore it on her finger but unfortunately the size no more fits her and she is now planning to have it enlarged.
"I had given up hope. Now that I have found the ring again I want to be able to use it”, she told Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter.
