It has been recently revealed that a man has succumbed to multiple organ failure after being diagnosed with swine flu. Heath authorities from China are calling for peace after this recent development. They are of the view that the situation will soon be under control and there is no need to worry.

The man contracted the virus in Shenzhen, and it has been revealed that poultry from the area is infected by the virus strain. For the same reason, imports of the poultry and poultry products in the vicinity have been banned for a few days. It was confirmed that the name of the man was Chen and that he was a bus driver. It was further added that this is the first case of the virus in humans since 18 months, making it all the more an issue of concern.

It was revealed by the authorities that the virus doesn’t spread through people, and there was no need to be worried about the same.

It doesn’t easily pass from humans to others, but the disease is surely dangerous and this is what has taken people by alarm. There is need for a proper investigation of the matter by the health authorities to find out where the disease has come from, and how it can be prevented from spreading further.

There is need for precautionary measures like keeping away from possibly infected poultry products till the time the scare of the disease isn’t put off completely.
