Write  Down to Lose Weight,  Claim ResearchersThere is good news for ladies who wish to shed off extra weight from their body. According to researchers of the University of Waterloo of Canada, women who write down their worries and concerns are more vulnerable of losing weight.

The findings of the researchers have been published in the Psychological Science journal. While explaining the study, Prof. Christine Logel said, “When something threatens your sense that you're a good person, like failing a test or having a fight with a friend, we can buffer that self-integrity by reminding ourselves how much we love our children, for example”.

The researchers, before drawing the conclusion, conducted a small study over 45 overweight women. For the study, the researchers divided women in two groups. The first group was asked to note down important incidents of their life while the other group was asked to write down the insignificant moments of their life.

It was found that the women who were asked to write about the important concerns of their life lost about 3.41 pounds while the other group gained about 2.76 pounds. The study clearly highlights that writing habits of overweight women can play significant part in making them obese, and in helping them in reducing weight.

It is believed that when women right about crucial moment of their life they become concern and alert which helps them in burning fat. Women are required to write for just 15 minutes to lose weight. There is no doubt that our belief about ourselves plays vital role in shaping up your mind and raising our consciousness. Alerting mind about the important activities of life which are yet to come or have elapsed can play significant role in the life of women by helping them losing weight.
