9 Drinks Down and Still Standing!It has been recently revealed that young people, who binge on alcohol, might actually tend to have the capacity of binging on as many as 9 drinks at a time. It is surprising because the average binge drinking levels are said to be about 4-5 drinks at a time, and the youngsters seem to be overdoing it all.

People between the age group of 18-34 years have agreed in a survey that they had binged on alcohol as much as once a month. This means many people are drinking too much alcohol, even higher than the highest levels. There is dire need for people to understand that alcohol is a slow killer, and that it eventually harms the liver to such an extent that it becomes non-functional.

There is need for more and more awareness programs to be launched in order to make people realize that they need to stop binging on it today itself.

It is essential that people are made aware about the terrible side effects that binging on alcohol might tend to have. From obesity to heart diseases, to liver failure, to high blood pressure and so on. It is essential that people understand that they need to be restrictive and controlled about their intake of alcohol, so that they don’t harm their bodies.
