It was recently revealed that Falkland island government has turned away the Star Princess ship by Princess Cruises. Princess Cruises is of the view that this new move has left them disappointed and surprised.

According to the prior plan, the ship was supposed to dock at the Port Stanley, which would be a stop while the cruise from Chile to Brazil. There were stops in Argentina thought as well. There are as many as 3,500 crew members and passengers from Argentina.

The problem seemed to have occurred after there was a huge row between Britain and Argentina, on the matter of the Malvinas islands. The government from Falkland’s islands on the other hand is of the view that some passengers have stomach flu, and this is why they can’t enter their islands. The place doest have enough medical aid for dealing with contagious viruses and this why it was done as a precautionary measure.

Princess Cruises which had to bear the brunt of this untimely change of plan was of the view that this move isn’t scientific or warranted, and it goes completely against the rules of the international health policy.

It was in the year 1982, that there had been the death of hundreds of people when Britain had pushed away many Argentina forces. This new move has caused unrest amongst the passengers and crew of the cruise. They wanted to visit the island and they shall not have a chance to do so now.

It is a matter of time to see what the events turn out to be like in the upcoming days, so that it can be determined whether or not the islands shall host the passengers in the future.
