It has been revealed that a couple from Canada concealed the gender of their child for five years and it is only now they revealed that their child Sasha is a boy. They would not have disclosed even now also but they have to as it was needed for his primary school admission.

Beck Laxton and Kieran Coope do not wanted to restrict their child into gender stereotyping and said that this is the reason for concealing Sasha’s identity for so many years. Laxton said that when she was pregnant that time also she did not ask doctor whether she was going to have a baby boy or a girl.

She wanted it to be a complete surprise but even after her delivery she did not ask for the gender of the baby. It was after 30 minutes of her delivery when she and her husband Kieran asked for the gender of the baby.

Since then to till now they have made sure that their child’s gender remains a secret as they do not want him to act as per the rules of the world. This is the reason that Sasha has been known as gender neutral child and has worn girl’s dresses also on many occasions.

Sasha’s father Kieran said that he would never restrict his child to not wear girl’s clothes. If he wants to wear them then he can surely do that, but it is not that they take him out in a girl’s dress. Moreover, Sasha knows about his gender so there is no problem as such.

Beck shared that she has face a lot of complexities for concealing the identity of his child. Her colleagues used to call her made and avoided to come to her place for coffee. But now everything is fine as they have finally told that Sasha is a boy.
