A recent report from Pew Internet has revealed that young adults living in the United States are quite techno savvy and the main evidence of this claim is that 29% of them own a tablet or an e-reader and another 19% have a tablet. The figures are just amazing, as it depicts the growth of tablet owner for just a month that is from mid-December 2011 and early January 2012.
Before the said period, the percentage was lying at 10% but now it has grown to 19%. Pew Internet said that it is good to see that the US people are getting so techno savvy that in just one holiday break, they have jumped from 18 to 29%.
However, it would not be wrong to predict that in recent times, no good phone has released so the maximum of the people would have owned Kindle. Even the report from Kindle has revealed the same about Kindle sales.
As per them, it has been one of the economic tablets ever came in the US. This is the reason that people did not mind it gifting to their friends and family members during Christmas celebration. Another thing that got reported from Pew Internet was that tablets were found with those youngsters who belonged to high-income families.
It also got reported that those who were educated were more into suing tablets and e-readers than those who were just in schools. However, tablets remained a man’s favorite while e-readers were slightly more common among women.
In order to reach at the above conclusion, 2,986 Americans were being questioned who were above 16- years- old and the survey was being conducted between November 2011 and January 2012. It is said that this trend would continue with much more number adding to the existing list.
