American Cancer Society Soliciting Buyers, Volunteers for Daffodil Days

American-Cancer-SocietyAs per recent reports, it has been revealed that the 2012 annual Daffodil Days crusade has been initialized recently by the American Cancer Society (ACS).

In the course of time till March 2, the American Cancer Society will be focused on registering orders for a variety of products related to the daffodil campaign. In addition, the council has also instigated an interactive web portal, www. cancer. org/daffodils, with the intent of recruiting more and more volunteers for providing effective assistance in terms of delivery and formulation of the “flower of hope” during the coming spring 2012.

While expressing her opinion regarding the entire issue and explaining what all people can look forward to during the upcoming campaign, a daffodil staff partner from the American Cancer Society (ACS), said that the organizers of the event are all on their toes with a flurry of excitement, hope and spirit related to Daffodil Days which have always brought support from a large number of people willingly backing up the noble deed. It will especially bring lots of cheers for folks who have incessantly backed the crusade year after year.

She further asserted that, “This year, we are working toward expanding that reach into each every Maine community, alerting them of the opportunities to get involved and how even a $10 dollar donation can make a tremendous difference for neighbors and friends faced with a cancer diagnosis this year”.

Along the lines of Daffodil Days organized every year with too grand a zest and zeal, this year’s event is also expected to be a box office affair, offering a bouquet of daffodil products, including some fascinating ones like the participants can get their hands on a bouquet of 10 sparklingly fresh daffodil blossoms for a gift of just $10, while three mini-daffodil bulbs will be also there in a soil-filled container in exchange of a donation of $15.
