One man’s loss is other man’s gain. Well, the same seems to be true in the rivalry between Microsoft and Google. Recently, it was revealed that Microsoft would be taking out print advertisement campaign which aims to attack Google policy changes.
The print advertisement campaign is a three-day game and would start from today. As per reports, the advertisement campaign is going to get printed in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and USA Today.
Microsoft Spokesperson Frank Shaw agreed that they are going to take out such campaign. He further revealed that through their three–day campaign, they want to aware people about how Google would be risking their privacy to earn more revenue.
In order to enhance the effect, Shaw said that they are going to put up a blog on their official website tilted “Gone Google? Got Concerns? We Have Alternatives”. It would also be getting posted today on the website. Shaw further affirmed that, “The changes Google announced make it harder, not easier, for people to stay in control of their own information”, he added.
Not long time has passed when Google announced that it is going to unify all its search tools to make browsing a bit easy. But, the change has not got good comments from the industry insiders as well from the general public. Many people also raised concerns of privacy infringement.
In that matter, Google came forth and affirmed that they have taken complete care of their privacy issues and they would make sure their consumer data remains protected. Now also, Google is firm on its words and has affirmed that the privacy-policy changes were being done to make the procedures simpler.
So far, change in the policies has not good comments and data protection agencies in Ireland and France have also raised doubts about it. They have said that they would need to assess the changes.
