It has been recently revealed that there has been a long list of changes in the policy, put across by the Rural Doctors Association, because there is need for more doctors to get attracted towards working in the rural areas, where there is need for more health services. There is need for modification in the system, in such a way that the people in rural areas get their necessities.

There is currently a Senate Inquiry going to be done on the shortage of medical facilities being faced in the rural areas. There is need for a proper analysis of the scenario to be done by the government so that the needs and requirements of the People in the rural areas. There is need for proper training of the doctors, and giving them enough reason for working in the rural areas. If they are given proper incentives, it would encourage them to work in the rural areas.

"One common personality of doctors is obsessionality, which, in small doses, makes for good citizens . . . who are likely to do the right thing, be organized, be in control of what they are doing, be thorough and reliable and conscientious”, said Geoff Riley, a psychiatrist and Professor of Rural and Remote Medicine at the University of WA.

There is need for more to be done for the people in need in the rural areas. This is because they are the ones suffering due to ill health conditions. They have to travel to far off places to get proper treatment as well. This is why there is dire need for helping the people of the country side, as it would mean a thorough development of the country.
