As per recent reports, it has been revealed that bacterial infection outbreak has been announced on the East Coast. Public Health Officials have informed that the main reason for bacterial infection is consumption of raw and unpasteurized milk.

It is not the first time when such incident has taken place as earlier also the government has warned people to not to buy unprocessed food items. Presidential candidate Ron Paul told that he has been looking into the matter and has urged people to avoid consuming such products.

Paul has even asked them government to stop providing such facility to people. Health inspectors told that they have inspecting milk dairies and trying to find out the source of Campylobacter. The bacterial infection could cause diarrhea, cramping, abdominal pain, and fever and in severe cases it can even risk life.

In the wake of outbreak, the public health officials have closed some of the dairies in Pennsylvania and have also suspended milk supply in other four states. It seems that people would now be having a hard time to find raw milk. Already, raw milk, fruits and vegetables are not allowed to transport across state lines.

The government has said that unpasteurized milk is unsafe for health as it could have pathogens. Some of the other pathogens that could be found in raw milk are salmonella, listeria, and E. coli. If one gets down with any of the pathogen then he could suffer from cardiac arrest, renal failure, paralysis and even death.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention told that earlier also may people have die due to the consumption of raw milk and its major impact is on children who have not so strong immune system.
