It has been recently revealed in a report that there is going to be an appeal made on the behavior of the man, who has been given a three-year sentence for being cruel to a baby merely 10 months old. This appeal is going to be made by the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The name of the man is Larry Connors, who is 20 years old, and the claim of an appeal to be made, has come after merely 2 days of sentencing him to the three years prison term.

It was found that the man has tortured the baby brutally. The child was found to have broken forearms, brain bleed, a dislocation in the elbow, an iron burn on his calf, and a bite mark on the right cheek. The baby had been tortured for three weeks, and it’s a very shocking incident.

"My child wakes up in the middle of the night screaming and shouting. I believe that this is the result of flashbacks of the abuse that he suffered at the hands of Larry Connors”, revealed the mother of the child. It was further revealed by her that Larry became mentally disturbed and used to lock himself and the child inside a room, and scream and roar at him.

She further said that the time was horribly tough because her baby was getting hurt and beat up, and she couldn’t help him, and couldn’t do anything about it.

It was further revealed by the detective, Garda David Laing that the baby was brought to the Midwest Regional Hospital in Limerick on the 3rd January this year with a number of injuries as well as burns.

There is need for the government to take effective steps in this regard so that no further cases of domestic violence and hurting small children is seen in the future.
