A new report has revealed that abortifacient medication is being described as providing benefits, which it actually does not give. People are being misled regarding the medication, which helps in contraception, finds the report.
It has been found by the report that Planned Parenthood uses family planning funds and federal dollars in order to support abortion. It highly encourages people to take pills and medication, thereby misguiding them about their benefits and help in contraception.
Varied sources have been involved in misleading parents who want to abort their child along with the president of Planned Parenthood Greater Memphis Region, Barry Chase, who deceives people about birth control and ‘morning after’ pills. People are unaware about the disadvantages and harms of such medications, and believing the benefits, they tend to go for the same.
Sources say that hormonal contraceptive such as PREVEN and Plan B are helpful in preventing pregnancy. They suggest people to take Plan B which helps in making the lining of the womb inhospitable for implantation. Also, they always recommend PREVEN affirming that it helps in halting a fertilized egg from attaching to the uterus wall.
However, a team of scientists claims that any artificial action, like destroying a fertilized egg, that is possible by such medicines is abortifacient in nature. Also, the team has told the reporters that the sperm and the egg when fertilize, create a child who is entirely different from mother.
But, supporters of such medications believe and suggest that these drugs do not cause abortion, rather these help in prevention of pregnancy. Further, need for induced abortion is cut by such medicines. It has been found that today’s youth is mostly in favour of the March for Life commemorating the Supreme Court's infamous Roe v. Wade decision, which says that Planned Parenthood should not concern the future of abortion. Chase says that he is proud that the youth is aware of the truth and the future only lies in it.
