Seeing the rise in Alzheimer’s Disease in Canada and reports about the disease rising further in the times to come, an announcement from B’nai Brith Canada has come about funding the construction of a free-standing Alzheimer’s care facility in the Toronto area.
The B’nai Brith Canada has stated that its Alzheimer’s Complex will be a 43-room residence that would include a special wing is devoted to Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. It has also been described as a state-of-the-art facility which will be managed by skilled professionals.
According to Joe Bogoroch, president of B’nai Brith Canada, critical needs of people suffering from the disease would be met at the complex.
Bogoroch said, “B’nai Brith understands the critical need for care that exists for Alzheimer’s patients and their families. We sincerely hope that our facility will provide its future residents with dignity, independence, and loving care. And it is for that reason that we have launched a $6 million capital fund to which we hope people in the community will contribute so we can all work together in making this project a real success.”
