The recent figures depict that job advertisements registered a modest growth in February triggered by strong increases in the number of professional positions.
Official data is speculated to post that employment will increase by 10,000 in February and the unemployment rate jumping to 5.4 per cent, from 5.3 per cent, the median of 11 economists surveyed by AAP finds.
"The RBA (Reserve Bank of Australia) has signalled there will be further rate rises, but despite the optimism there may not be a great depth of confidence among employers yet," Mr. Olivier posted in a statement.
The hike in the official interest rates to 4 per cent, from 3.75 per cent this week by the central bank has triggered an increase in full on their major lending rates.
The index discovered ads for legal jobs outlining an increase by 11.41 per cent, while accounting jobs were up 10.02 per cent and administrative and clerical vacancies rose by 5.51 per cent.
"The legal sector has seen some upheaval lately, with global firms head-hunting among the leading local talent," Mr. Olivier said.
