It had been just a few days since Portal 2's existence was recently confirmed and the pros and cons of Game Informer's cover story continue to make their way online.

The entire cover story itself has reportedly been scanned, and VG247 pulled a few of the major details.

The initial updates specify that Portal 2 - which probably carries on directly from the new, extended ending of the original game - will hit the stores during Christmas 2010.

Apparently, Portal 2 will not come with Episode 3 or any other games, as the first Portal was launched with Episode 2 and Team Fortress 2.

It is reported that Portal 2 will take place hundreds of years after the first Portal, resulting in the Aperture Science labs looking like "a jungle."

Even after this significant time span, Portal 2 will is expected to somehow once again star Chell, the first game's protagonist, as the playable character in the single-player game.

Portal 2 will feature a new Game Informer article, facilitating new gameplay mechanics, storyline, and some surprising new twists.
